VP, Deposit & Treasury Management Sales Specialist - Wealth at Work
The Deposits and Treasury Management Sales Specialist is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within the field of Treasury Management, and is a recognized technical and solutions oriented partner. As a Deposits & Treasury Management Sales Specialist, you will work closely with the Wealth at Work banking teams within designated coverage area to assist in generating new business from prospective institutional clients as well as deepen existing client relationships. Responsibilities include: consulting with clients, understanding their needs and delivering integrated banking, treasury management and deposit product solutions. This individual will be closely engaged with the Wealth at Work banking teams, as well as directly with our clients in a product sales capacity. Excellent sales and product skills are required, as well as exhibiting a high degree of professionalism and high proactive engagement. The successful candidate must possess knowledge of general business banking, treasury management tools and deposit product solutions. Additionally, you will work closely with product partners and our wider Deposit & Custody Products Team on a regular basis. **Responsibilities:** + Provide product sales support to assist in generating new banking depository and treasury management business from prospective and existing clients + Directly interface with the client’s CFO, CEO, Controller, Treasurer & Accounting Staff + Understand & evaluate clients’ business needs by employing a consultative sales approach to determine their requirements and recommend solutions + Evoke meaningful discussions with clients around their critical issues and propose integrated treasury management and banking solutions + Full Engagement & Execution on all Strategic Business Development Initiatives + Conduct banker portfolio and client relationship reviews to generate new business + Prepare and present competitor statement analyses and product proposals + Support the Proposal & RFP bidding processes + Proactively keep bankers within coverage and clients abreast of new products, enhancements and industry developments + Create and maintain a solid working relationship with the overall deposits & custody team, product partners and colleagues throughout Citi + Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. + Some travel required **Qualifications:** + 5-10 years of experience + Possess a minimum of 5 years of cash management, banking and client interfacing experience + Have knowledge of Treasury Management products, banking & the client sales cycle + High degree of professionalism + Strong engagement with internal and external clients + Strong written, listening & verbal communication skills + Strong consultative selling & negotiation ability + Attention to detail with proactive, consistent follow-up skills + Proficiency in MS Office, internet applications & pipeline reporting systems **Education:** + Bachelor's/University degree ------------------------------------------------------ **Job Family Group:** Private Client Product Services ------------------------------------------------------ **Job Family:** Banking Cash Management ------------------------------------------------------ **Time Type:** Full time ------------------------------------------------------ **Primary Location:** New York New York United States ------------------------------------------------------ **Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:** $157,040.00 - $235,560.00 In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
