VP, Finance Reporting Lead Analyst
As part of Citi’s Finance Transformation program, the Global Reporting Governance organization is charged with leading efforts to codify a Reporting Governance Framework to manage operational risks inherent in reporting processes and strengthen controls supporting regulatory and management reporting. The Global Reporting Governance organization is looking for a dynamic individual to help execute the target state framework and governance standards for regulatory and management reports globally. We are seeking an experienced Financial Solutions Lead Analyst to join Global Reporting Governance to assist in defining the target state report inventory platform and drive integration with other Citi systems that support regulatory and management reporting system such as Insight, MCA. The Lead Analyst will work directly with Citi Businesses and Global Functions Technology to execute against our regulatory commitments. The candidate will analyze business processes required to support regulatory and management report inventory, associated control evidences, End User Computing, Corporate/Business Critical R Elements, create workflow charts and process-flow diagrams, perform data quality checks of the meta data, review of the report tagging within the inventory, contribute to committee reporting, study system capabilities, write functional and non-functional requirements, and assist with the coordination, testing, and implementation of deliverables. Responsibilities: + Provide effective oversight of the Atlas - Report Inventory tool. + Provide input and support to the GRMRP Policy and Standards + Contribute to update of various committee decks and analysis. + Perform monthly data quality checks within the inventory and engage Business stakeholders to remediate findings. + Perform frequent review of report tagging within the Inventory to maintain proper alignment to the GRMRP Policy. + Provide Atlas Report Inventory SME knowledge on the integration to upstream and downstream systems including Insight and other systems within the reporting ecosystem. + Provide application support, and work with technical resources to provide technical solutions for system issues + Serve as the main point of contact for Atlas Report Inventory related inquiries and conduct application troubleshooting + Contribute to the determination of the target state report inventory platform + Seek to understand business processes and problems, and offer solutions based on leveraging systems, processes, and data flows + Maintain and assist with the execution of detailed test plans and user acceptance testing for system enhancements + Partner with the business to translate business requirements into functional/technical specifications + Support Project Manager to develop relevant project plans and provide status updates + Engage Business stakeholders for prioritizing Atlas Report Inventory Change Requests + Engage with Technology Partners for on time delivery of enhancements + Develop and maintain User Guides, FAQs and other training material and conduct User Training + Create and maintain process documentation + Support ad-hoc projects/requests as needed Qualifications: + 7+ years of experience working in the finance industry, experience in Finance, Reporting, or Governance is a plus + Understanding of IT principles and the software development lifecycle and Project Management + Strong track record of delivery of complex, inter-disciplinary programs + Proficiency in all other Microsoft Office tools + Ability to plan, manage time, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment with high accuracy and attention to detail + Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization and develop partnerships across multiple businesses and functional areas + Proactive approach to raising issues and risks + Excellent skills in verbal and written communication, presentation, influencing others, negotiations, and working with diverse, geographically dispersed teams + Ability to develop supporting materials for presentations, create meeting minutes + Ability to follow up and get resolution for action items directly impacting the project + Proficiency in Excel (pivots, v-look ups) and PowerPoint + High energy, self-starter with a flexible and pragmatic attitude and a desire to show continued progress + Ability to manage competing priorities, synthesize complex concepts and large quantities of information in a complex and dynamic environment + Intermediate project management skills or experience in complex systems implementations preferred Education: + Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Management or related field.
