The VP, FP&A will lead the financial, planning, and analysis across several key Gartner’s key business units. We are looking for ambitious individuals with outstanding, proven analytical capabilities and intellectual curiosity who enjoy partnering with business leaders to analyze financial trends and develop clear business solutions. Key Responsibilities

·Partner with senior leaders in the business on executing key priorities

Provide insights to key performance drivers and participate in incremental investment decisions

Partner with the business to improve the economics of the business

Lead and manage Finance team to effectively support BU executive management and extended leadership teams

Lead one or more business unit's budgeting and forecasting processes; establish targets, create work plans, manage key deliverables, and coordinate with key stakeholders including the BU leadership team

Oversee the financial reporting for business unit(s); including the design, creation and management of the monthly report package, monthly corporate reporting, and other ad hoc requirements

Actively manage the budget in partnership with the BU leadership team

Evolve forward looking metrics and forecasts to more accurately predict future financial performance

Establish effective partnerships with business unit leaders and finance peers

Provide ad hoc analysis and financial support in addition to recurring accountabilities.

Provide leadership to the Finance team to maintain standards and increase value delivered.

Provide insights to the financial performance of the business to various company leadership

Build highly effective team by recruiting, interviewing, and assessing talent

Day to day management of associates, promoting teamwork and individual development

Position Requirements

Bachelor's & Master’s Degree with a concentration in Business, Finance or Accounting required

Advanced certification in Business, Finance or Accounting desired

Progressive finance experience in a leadership role OR strategic consultative experience in a leadership role while managing a P&L (baseline Finance expertise required)

15+ years’ experience in a financial reporting and analysis capacity

Ability to partner with senior leaders and build trusted business relationships

Relevant professional experience leading and/or mentoring team of associates

Excellent communication, collaboration, prioritization, critical thinking, influencing, and change management skills

Independent thinking and complex problem solving and modelling skills

Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture by being approachable, providing continuous encouragement to team, identifying skill gaps and communicating team goals

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and dynamic team environment.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 158,000 USD - 220,500 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
