Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 15%

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 15%

These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based upon your achievement of performance goals and targets.

Axos seeks a bold, results-driven VP, GTM Strategy and Tactics to join our Marketing Strategy team. This role will be responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing data-driven marketing initiatives to accelerate growth, increase opportunities and enhance client lifetime value across our portfolio of B2B businesses, including Axos Commercial Bank, Axos Advisor Services, and Axos Clearing.  

Collaborating with leaders across the organization, this role will is accountable for working across lines of businesses and internal teams to align strategy and deliver marketing and revenue targets, ensure readiness of our go-to-market efforts, and work to address the top challenges and opportunities for over 35 niche industry and audience verticals.

The VP, GTM Strategy and Tactics is a vital role in Axos Marketing’s execution of strategic growth initiatives - implementing processes and tools to improve overall team effectiveness in strategy/market intelligence, cross-channel opportunities, and optimization of go-to-market efforts. Ultimately, helping the organization to leapfrog in organizational maturity, drive superior marketing performance, and expand market potential.

Responsibilities:

Pipeline Management: Own the pipeline targets for marketing-driven opportunities, developing strategies alongside the marketing team to achieve growth in new and existing accounts across all customer segments and industriesCampaign Execution and Customer Engagement: Scale and optimize high-quality digital and multi-channel campaigns, including paid search, paid social, email marketing, and webinars. Ensure these campaigns are integrated with continuous customer engagement activities such as product updates and personalized newsletters to maintain and enhance customer relationshipsStrategic Projects and Customer Marketing: Lead strategic projects that propel the marketing organization's growth and performance. Oversee the creation and distribution of customer-focused content, including regular product updates and newsletters that inform and add value to the customer experienceMarket Analysis: Perform in-depth market analysis to drive strategic decisions concerning Total Addressable Market (TAM), Serviceable Available Market (SAM), and Serviceable Obtainable Market (SOM). Support and challenge marketing teams to refine efforts towards scalable successPerformance Metrics: Define and monitor key performance indicators, adjusting strategies based on daily or weekly performance metrics to optimize outcomes. Proactively identify and address deviations from expected resultsCross-Functional Collaboration: Enhance marketing reach and efficiency by partnering with various functions within the marketing team and beyond to deliver outstanding client experiencesIntegrated Campaign Strategy: Craft and execute data-driven integrated campaigns in collaboration with other marketing teams, aligning with strategic market moments to maximize customer reach and impactCreative Problem Solving: Use an inquisitive and innovative approach to address business challenges, continuously seeking to question assumptions and introduce creative solutions for business growthGoal-Oriented Marketing Efforts: Maintain a strong focus on achieving specific, quantifiable goals to ensure that all marketing activities are purpose-driven and aligned with the bank’s strategic objectivesEffective Communication: Demonstrate superior communication skills to convey complex ideas with clarity and persuasive authority in every interaction

Qualifications:

10+ years of marketing experience (in finance, banking, or financial services software preferred) with a strong, demonstrable focus on pipeline growth and high-quality executionProven success in building, developing, and leading demand generation and growth teamsExperience at a company in growth mode - scaling to >$250MWorld class business acumen with a bias for data driven decision making and velocity of executionA strong team player but still a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth start-up environmentSomeone who flourishes when given responsibility and a sense of ownership
