As the Head of Vulnerability Management at Broadridge, you will be the driving force behind our efforts to protect our critical systems and data. In this strategic role, you will lead a dedicated team to discover, analyze, and remediate vulnerabilities in our infrastructure and applications, ensuring we remain ahead of potential threats. You will coordinate the penetration testing and red team efforts and will provide insightful, data-driven strategic analysis to continuously enhance our cybersecurity posture. Your expertise will be key in safeguarding our organization against evolving security challenges in the financial services industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct the vulnerability management program, overseeing vulnerability discovery, prioritization, analysis, and remediation efforts.
• Manage and coordinate penetration testing activities to assess the security of applications and infrastructure.
• Develop a proactive vulnerability management strategy that aligns with the organization’s security objectives and compliance requirements.
• Analyze and interpret vulnerability data to guide strategic decision-making and risk reduction initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective solutions for identified vulnerabilities and track remediation progress.
• Generate comprehensive reports and metrics to communicate vulnerability status and risk exposure to senior management.
• Stay abreast of emerging security threats and vulnerabilities, ensuring the organization reacts promptly to new risks.
• Integrate vulnerability management processes with broader cybersecurity efforts and enterprise risk management strategies.
• Lead and mentor a team of security professionals, cultivating an environment of innovation, diligence, and continuous learning.
Qualifications:
Significant experience in vulnerability management and penetration testing within the financial services sector.
• Expertise in infrastructure and application security assessment tools and analysis.
• Strong knowledge of security vulnerability prioritization and remediation.
• Superior analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to derive insights from complex datasets.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with both technical and executive stakeholders.
