Position Overview

As the Vice President of Innovation and Insights, you will have the opportunity to research, develop, and implement groundbreaking new and innovative coatings products, tools, and services that may not exist in the market. Your role will be crucial in formulating and integrating strategies for the development of new products, processes, tools, and potential materials, with the goal of revolutionizing our paint coatings, applicators, and adjacency business.

This involves addressing essential factors such as cost efficiency, product performance, the use of innovative materials, and optimization of processes.

Responsibilities:Research, develop, and implement groundbreaking new and innovative coatings products, tools, and servicesFormulate and integrate strategies for the development of new products, processes, tools, and potential materialsLead and grow a team of professionals with non-traditional thinking and innovative ideasInspire innovation across the organization, ensuring alignment with our vision and global strategyLead the creation of innovative solutions to gain long-term competitive advantagesCollaborate closely with relevant team members to ensure brand integrity and technical feasibilityApply extensive knowledge of DIY and Pro environments to develop innovative strategiesDrive growth by crafting and implementing strategies for a long-term competitive edgeManage innovative and AI strategies and tactics, ensuring effective coordination and protection of Intellectual Property rightsRequirements:Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required; MBA preferred10 years of demonstrated experience in product management or a similar domain in the paint/coatings industry, home improvement industry or consumer packaged goodsExceptional leadership and team management skillsDemonstrated ability to develop and implement innovative strategiesStrong knowledge of the home improvement "DIY" and "Pro" customer marketExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to drive growth and establish competitive advantagesOther Requirements:Travel up to 10% (including overnight travel) required periodicallyWhat We Offer
