The Vice President of IT Product Management (VP, IT Product Management) will be responsible for leading the product management organization within the IT department. This role will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and will be a critical member of the executive leadership team. The VP of Product Management will oversee the lifecycle of technology products, from conception to launch and beyond, ensuring they meet market demands and deliver exceptional value to our customers and the business. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the digital customer experience, optimizing operational efficiencies, and leveraging technology to drive business growth. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to prioritize product development efforts, aligning technology solutions with business objectives and customer needs
Scope includes Stores, B2B, B2C product management, Catalogue & PIM, Merchandising & Inventory (Intrepid), Finance, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), UI/UX, and Enterprise PMO. Supply Chain and Order Management to be added later in the year.
This position is part of a Hybrid work arrangement based in Raleigh, NC.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with the company's overall business goals and drives growth and innovation.
Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of product managers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Market Research: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product development.
Product Development: Oversee the end-to-end product development process, from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
Customer Focus: Ensure products are designed and developed with a deep understanding of customer needs, enhancing user experience and satisfaction.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, marketing, sales, and other departments to ensure alignment and successful product launches.
Roadmap Management: Develop and maintain a detailed product roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on business value, customer impact, and resource availability.
Performance Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive continuous improvement.
Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging the exploration and adoption of new technologies and methodologies to stay ahead in the market.
Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with senior executives and other key stakeholders to communicate product vision, strategy, and progress.

Certifications, Experience, and Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; MBA preferred.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in IT product management or related roles, with at least 10 years in a leadership capacity.
Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in the retail industry is highly desirable, with an understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in this sector.
Relevant certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Project Management Professional (PMP) are desirable.
