We Are Brookfield Properties:We are seeking a Vice President to join the Brookfield Properties U.S. Office Division in New York or LA. You will help our cross-border Leasing, Client Relationship Management (CRM) and Business Development for one of Brookfield Properties’ busiest growth markets – India.
Pan-India, Brookfield owns and operates 26 assets, across 10 cities, totaling ca. 50 million sqft of Grade-A office space. We, Brookfield India, also own a coworking company with 34 centers and ca. 20,000 + desks. Our Office Assets are the location of choice for over 450 tenants and our goal is to double our office footprint Pan-India over the next 5 years. You will help strengthen existing and build new MNC/Global relationships, as we execute large deals in India with international corporates.
Over 1,800 Global Capability Centers (GCCs) have been established in India by more than 1,400 unique global occupiers and it is estimated that India is on track to host 2,100-2,200 global capability centers (GCCs), creating 2.5-2.8 million jobs, by 2030. More than 65% of the GCCs in India are headquartered in the US, and these centers have moved from being mere ‘support roles’ to leading global operations.
Role & Responsibilities:Generating more Global Capability Centre (GCC) leads for the BP India Office Portfolio. Both new and existing expansion, by marketing BP India assets outbound/internationally.
Convert GCC deals by engaging closely with Tenant Global HQ’s and CRE’s to shape and meet the target company / occupier demands / requirements etc.
Cover the Fortune 500 / Global 1000 / 2000 CREs in the US – building, tracking & converting pipeline.
Building / strengthening relationships with Partners (i.e. Consultants = sources of leads) who are advisors to the end user (Tenant) during their establishment process (setup journey) in India.
Proactive Client Targeting: Experience in and willingness to do proactive customer sourcing & contacting (finding emails & phone numbers) and cold calling, cold emailing, LinkedIn messaging, etc.
Business development (finding & going to conferences, industry events, setting up and attending / leading meetings, etc.).
Ability to travel across the US (often / as needed) to meet clients and to India as and where / when needed. In the first few months, You will need to travel to India (possibly a couple of times) to familiarize yourself with the BP India portfolio and team.
Gather and share GCC requirements in context of RE to BP India team for colleagues to improve asset(s), USPs, marketing pitch, solution offering, etc.
Your Qualifications:8 – 10 years of experience in Office real estate.
Office leasing experience (Tenant Targeting, Deal Origination, Negotiation & Execution).
Proven track record of sales experience.
Strong experience and existing relationships with the top Brokers / IPCs: CBRE, JLL, Cushman & Wakefield, etc.
Strong contacts & connections in the Corporate Real Estate Industry (CoreNet, ULI, etc.)
Strong understanding of different office handover options / conditions (Shell & Core, Fitted & Furnished, Managed Office Solutions, Turnkey bespoke structures, etc.)
Have led client meetings / negotiations with senior personnel.
Strong understanding of different lease deal structures (i.e. main Tenant requirements).
Experience with or as an in-house CRE function / role.
Independent, Motivated, Confident, Solution Oriented & Proactive.

Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Type: Exempt
Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly
Annual Base Salary Range: $185,000 - $195,000
