THE JOB

Reporting to the CMO, you'll lead our marketing function (paid, earned and owned media), leveraging a 7+ figure media budget, leading an internal team, working with our cross functional partners plus onboarding and managing agency partners while also working with our hospitals to increase local awareness and volume. We're looking for someone hungry to unlock new channels and growth opportunities who can build and execute our media strategy but is not afraid to get into the weeds. In this role, you’ll connect our organic and paid marketing efforts to build a cohesive function leveraging our brand and culture for consumer growth. This role has the opportunity for professional growth and a growing mandate as the function scales. We are looking for someone who is located in or near the NYC area or willing to relocate, as this role will be in person at our White Plains headquarters 4 days a week. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Drive a best-in-class approach to multi-channel demand generation, incorporating paid media, organic marketing, PR, community and local marketing and more to reach and drive more visits to our hospitals, ensuring effective customer acquisition and ROI. Partner with the Brand team on media programs targeting awareness and consideration; leveraging digital, in market and streaming media tactics - with an eye for storytelling. Develop an experimentation roadmap with internal team and agency partners to test emerging growth channels, innovative marketing tactics, and new strategies. Implementing  successful experiments at scale to enhance customer visits and  revenue growth. Build the data and measurement strategy (alongside agency partners and Solutions and Insights team at VEG) to grow and optimize our media and funnel effectively. Own and manage our corporate marketing budget and decentralized hospital marketing budgets - including working with regional managers and marketers to build effective marketing budgets in an entrepreneurial culture.  Lead and grow a group of highly motivated marketing professionals, helping them drive greater impact and furthering VEG culture.

WHAT YOU NEED

12-15 years experience in consumer marketing, with a track record of creating, planning and executing strategies to drive transformative business results. Customer oriented: understanding the psychology of what works and why. Channel expertise across the entire marketing mix including offline and online channels; performance and brand channels. Strong background in marketing technology and data analytics, including experience with multi-channel attribution, optimization, and customer segmentation. Hands-on, proactive approach and established testing philosophy. Collaborative leader able to work with multiple teams and functions within the company including field operations, product and technology, creative, etc. Skilled communicator who can engage easily and manage agencies, and internal teams. Self-starter who can power through ambiguity, prioritize among competing needs, and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
