Your New Role…
The Vice President of Program Delivery is responsible for leading a centralized team that provides CNN's Digital Products and Services leadership with dedicated portfolio, program, and project management expertise. This role drives delivery, coordination, and alignment for CNN's highest profile consumer and business initiatives, ensuring successful execution across the full lifecycle from initiation to closure.
Your Role Accountabilities…
Design and implement a full vision and strategy for the new Program Delivery team, collaborating with key stakeholders to enhance organizational capabilitiesLead clear program management and oversight of CNN's most important digital initiatives, working closely with business leaders and project management teamsSupport critical governance forums across CNN Digital Products & Services and CNN Worldwide, including monthly Steering CommitteesDrive communication, alignment, visibility, and decision-making across the organizationContinuously identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and decrease complexity while increasing overall delivery confidenceProvide a holistic and unbiased view on program status, holding themselves and teams fully accountableEnhance our organization’s capabilities to delivery on-time, on-budget, and high-quality outcomes across the full lifecycle from initiation, execution, launch and closureQualifications & Experience…
15+ years of experience in program management, preferably in digital media or technology sectorsProven track record of successfully leading large-scale, complex digital initiativesStrong leadership skills with the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholdersExcellent communication and presentation skillsDeep understanding of agile methodologies and digital product development processesExperience with portfolio management and resource allocation in a fast-paced environmentBachelor's degree in Business or related field; MBA preferredDemonstrated ability to design and implement strategic visions for program delivery teamsExperience supporting governance forums and driving organizational alignmentStrong analytical skills with the ability to provide unbiased views on program status and accountabilityHow We Get Things Done…
