Responsibilities:

Develop multi-year business development plan Nurture and grow existing business relationships by serving as a strategic adviser to decision makers Lead and mentor our Customer Service, Inside Sales, National Account team, and both internal and external sales teams, including partnerships with third-party sales representative groups, to optimize the Kishigo customer experience. Leverage and train these teams on how to grow and manage their businesses based on specific market needs Review and strategize pricing and quotes. Assist the team in developing, presenting and selling value proposition Deep understanding of the sales processes with the ability to engage the team in setting and achieving sales goals Understand category-specific trends, report out these findings to the sales team and strategize on how to capitalize Lead monthly reviews and create an agenda based on business needs Cross-functional collaboration with internal teams Develop and implement CRM

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree is required; MBA is preferred Minimum of 10 years of sales leadership experience managing direct sales team’s customer service and inside sales teams, brokers and/or manufacturer sales agencies. Manufacturing sales and distribution experience in the safety industry is preferred Significant experience successfully managing and owning challenging sales cycles, building yearly plans for a business and delivering on revenue, margin, and cost targets on a consistent basis Executive level organizational, project management, and negotiation skills, including the ability to execute multiple initiatives autonomously Ability to communicate at an executive level with senior leadership and executive stakeholders through interpersonal skills and presentations People leadership experience, including the ability to hire, train and develop a high preforming sales team alongside ability to retrain proven sales producers Experience in managing customer service and/or inside sales team preferred Ability to strategize and adjust quickly to fluid business needs and growth challenges Ability to close deals and mentor team members to effectively achieve targets Strong verbal, negotiating and communication skills.  Resilient in the face of tough conversations and excellent knowledge on project management. Excellent PC skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM (Microsoft Dynamics/Salesforce), Power of BI, ZoomInfo and ability to learn new applications Ability to travel (50%+) throughout US

Kishigo California salary range: $165K-$180K plus bonus eligibility based on experience, education and geographic location
