We are hiring a VP, Sales Support. This position is for an ambitious quota-carrying Pre-Sales / Business Solutions team leader, partnering with senior level Business Solutions team members to achieve the overall Broadridge Asset Management Solutions Sales objectives. The solution set areas of focus cover a wide range of buy-side facing technology include Order Management, Portfolio Management, Risk Management, Investment Book of Record, Performance Reporting, Data Warehouse, Visual Analytics, Enterprise Reference Data Management, Accounting Book of Record, Revenue and Expense Management, Private Debt, and CLO Issuance.
This role includes a strong learning track with exposure and participation in key areas of Asset Management stakeholder groups. You will be relied upon by Segment Sales Teams to act as the Subject Matter and Demo Expert within a key product set, you will need to become versed in our client base, support structure, product functionality and its differentiation. The goal is to have you participating in client/prospect facing meetings, presentations, and demonstrations for Broadridge Asset Management Solutions both internally and externally throughout North America. You will work closely with many teams including, but not limited to Business Solutions, Sales, Account Management, Product Management, IT, and Professional Services within Broadridge to properly position the products to drive sales and expand the current use of the products.
In this role you will:
Manage a team of 6 pre-sales individuals across New York and BostonMaintain a knowledge-base of current product features plus planned development of all relative Broadridge products and services that can be sold to the assigned accountsWork with potential and existing customers on sales opportunities, providing management of the pre-sales / solutions team throughout the sales process from initial discovery thru contract signature to handoff to onboarding / implementation teamDocument meeting minutes, creating detailed action items and seeing them through to completionMaintain dashboards that track overall sales activity throughout the lifecycle of each saleBuild and maintain a comprehensive understanding of buy-side applications through supporting the team’s product demonstrations, technical explanations, and documentationEstablish domain expertise and credibility with buy-side customers and partnersAssist the Sales Team in the completion of Requests for Proposals (RFP), and Requests for Information (RFI)Prepare Business Analysis Discovery documentation and presentation material to prospects to highlight value propositions of the softwarePrepare and present documentation to product management teams for missing functional GAPSCommunicate customer/prospect activities with the assigned Sales Representative via Salesforce, Trello, Confluence, and other sales activity toolsWork as part of the senior business solutions team to deliver small and large Proofs of Concept (POC) tailored to meet customer's functional and technical requirements#LI-NO1
