$130,000.00/Yr. - $150,000.00/Yr.

Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 17.5%

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 17.5%

These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based upon your achievement of performance goals and targets.

About This Job

The VP, Sponsorship and Conference Services will lead a high-performing team responsible for executing Axos’ tradeshow and sponsorship strategy in alignment with business objectives. This individual will oversee conference planning, sponsorship activation, and event execution, ensuring that all sponsorship and event investments drive brand awareness, engagement, and measurable impact on pipeline growth.

This leader will collaborate with cross-functional teams, external vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution, strategic sponsorship alignment, and data-driven decision-making to optimize ROI.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Execution

Develop and lead the overall sponsorship and conference strategy to support Axos’ business growth and brand visibility across target marketsOversee the execution of key conferences, tradeshows, and sponsorship activations, ensuring alignment with business and marketing goalsOptimize event and sponsorship investment by leveraging data, performance analytics, and stakeholder feedback to drive continuous improvementEstablish event measurement frameworks to track and report on success metrics such as lead generation, client engagement, and brand impactCollaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Marketing teams to ensure event and sponsorship strategies support revenue and business objectivesManage and mentor a team responsible for conference logistics, sponsorship negotiations, and event execution, fostering a culture of innovation and excellenceOversee budget planning and resource allocation, ensuring cost-effective sponsorship and event execution with clear ROI trackingEvaluate and negotiate sponsorship agreements, ensuring alignment with Axos’ brand positioning and strategic goalsImplement best practices in event operations, including vendor management, contract negotiations, and post-event reporting

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

Partner with internal business leaders to identify sponsorship and event opportunities that align with pipeline growth initiativesDevelop strong relationships with external vendors, event organizers, and industry partners to maximize the value of sponsorship and conference investmentsEnsure brand consistency and compliance across all event and sponsorship activations

Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in event marketing, sponsorships, or conference management, preferably within financial services or B2B industriesProven track record of leading event teams and driving measurable impact through sponsorships and conferencesStrong understanding of B2B sales and marketing strategies, including lead generation and pipeline contributionExperience managing large-scale conferences, sponsorship negotiations, and event budgets with demonstrated ROIExcellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with executives, sales teams, and external partnersProficiency in event technology, CRM (Salesforce preferred), and marketing automation tools
