VP, Store Administration
Overall Job Summary

This position is responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight for Store Communications, Store Programs, Store Services  and Stores Help Desk/Customer Solutions areas of the Company to ensure that each operates in a way that provides the information and services the stores need in the most efficient, cost effective and timely manner, while supporting the Company's Strategic initiatives. This position is responsible for staffing, supervising and departmental execution for various business areas. Additionally, this position is responsible for maintaining a close, collaborative partnership with all departments related to Store Operations and Store Administration in order to ensure the needs of the stores are being met. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%) Provide strategic leadership and direction to various departments related to Store Operations. Provide leadership in the development and rollout of Store Programs that provide value/services to the end customer and provide additional revenue for the Company while simultaneously ensuring these programs align with the Company's strategic initiatives   Oversight for a team of professional and hourly team members responsible for delivering internal customer service and resolution to stores through people, technologies, and processes. Oversight for a team of professional and hourly team members responsible for delivering customer service and resolution to external customers and drive add-on sales. Develop and communicate goals and objectives for programs, processes, standards and long-term strategies for Store Administration & Store Operations Drive the development, deployment, maintenance and measurement of the processes and tools to successfully manage key programs, plans and projects. Maintain expense control and capital expenditures, while generating revenue. Oversee the development and delivery of communication plans for retail stores that align with business objectives and overall company strategy, while capturing and measuring customer feedback from multiple channels. Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of the company. Negotiate and maintain scalable, multi-million dollar contracts for various store programs and services, including the extended warranty program, bulk propane, waste management, etc.  Research, create and present accurate, detailed monthly and quarterly leadership reports to senior leadership on all managed innovative programs to drive cost savings, revenue and customer service for programs.  
  Required Qualifications

Experience: 10 years of extensive experience in retail operations, merchandising, and personnel development with experience in a large chain store environment. Heavy hard-lines experience in a specialty and mass merchant chain environment is preferred. 

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.  Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.
 

Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities Understanding of technology application in retail operations such as point-of-sale (POS), inventory management control, events management, sales tracking, etc.  Customer-centric focus Ability to change paradigms to drive sales Strong problem-solving, communication, organizational, and time management skills Ability to work independently Detail-oriented approach to work Proficient in Microsoft Office Ability to manipulate data to drive and expedite project analyses and completion
