POSITION SUMMARY
The VP, Strategic Markets Sales is a member of the Spectrum Enterprise executive team who will play a critical role in the continued expansion of the business. A leader within the high growth Strategic Markets segment, this individual will lead a team of sales professionals to exceed sold revenue and other operational goals through effective sales leadership, strategic planning and execution, as well as the application of sales methodologies, processes and tools. This leader drives revenue generation through net new sales and existing account management within the available segment market opportunity. In addition, this role carries responsibility for hiring and developing his or her Strategic Markets sales leadership team as well as sales professionals. Collaborating to influence go-to-market strategies including territories, account assignments, and strategic account planning are additional priorities. Additionally, this leader will ensure client network modernization and seller effectiveness are aggressively supported while building a team culture that fuels programmatic execution, data driven results, and insists upon a client-first mindset.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.Drive revenue growth through execution of the Strategic Markets sales strategy and leverage of developed account planning, account management, forecasting and reporting processes.Hire, lead and develop sales management and sales representatives, ensuring a continually high performing sales team that exceeds sales objectives.Effectively manage sales and sales activity performance using all sales reporting tools and ensuring sales methodology application.Ensure that sales strategies and tactics are responsive and effective in a rapidly changing competitive environment by providing regular competitive analyses and product insights.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.Demonstrated history of sales leadership positions in high-volume, fast-paced environments.Proven teamwork, flexibility and change management abilities.Experience leading geographically dispersed sales teams.Ability to lead large change initiatives.Effective negotiation, communication, organizational, and people management skills.Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas in highly competitive / technology sales environments.Strong, persuasive written and speaking skills with an ability to influence at all levels.Attention to detail and data driven mindset with strong instinct for the client’s perspective.Excellent leadership skills with the ability to encourage high performance from team members.Strong judgment, professional demeanor and business acumen.Effective builder of teams and organizations.Technically adept and experienced with Network and Managed Services.Solid collaborator with experience partnering cross-functionally with critical stakeholders.Advanced financial and analytical skills with experience developing and presenting business plans.Conversant with telecommunications and network technologies as well as business analysis tools.Education
Bachelor’s degree required; Advanced degree preferred.

The base pay for this position generally is between $212,900.00 and $425,900.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
