Seeking a highly experienced and strategic-minded Vice President of Value-Based Care Strategy to lead our organization's initiatives in value-based care models. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of healthcare delivery systems, payment models, a track record of designing and implementing successful value-based care strategies, coupled with strong leadership skills to drive transformative change.

They will play a pivotal role in driving the organization's shift towards value-based care, improving patient outcomes, and maximizing cost efficiencies.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a comprehensive value-based care strategy aligned with the organization's goals and vision. Lead the development and implementation of innovative care delivery models that emphasize value-based care, including accountable care organizations (ACOs), bundled payments, and risk-sharing arrangements. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including clinical, operational, financial, and IT teams, to ensure alignment and integration of value-based care initiatives across the organization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate clinical protocols, quality improvement initiatives, and care coordination programs across the organization. Analyze healthcare data and market trends to identify opportunities for enhancing value-based care initiatives, improving patient outcomes, and reducing costs. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success and impact of value-based care programs. Cultivate strategic partnerships with external stakeholders, such as payers, providers, community organizations, and policymakers, to drive collaboration and success in value-based care efforts. Stay abreast of regulatory changes, industry best practices, and emerging trends in value-based care, and integrate this knowledge into the organization's strategies.

Qualifications:

Advanced degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field. A clinical background combined with business expertise is advantageous.

Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare strategy, value-based care, population health management, or a related area.

Proven track record of developing and implementing successful value-based care initiatives, preferably within a healthcare system, payer organization, or consulting firm.

Deep understanding of healthcare reimbursement models, quality metrics, and regulatory requirements related to value-based care.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex healthcare data and use insights to drive strategic decision-making.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and effectively lead cross-functional teams.

The pay for this position ranges from $300,000 – 340,000 per year.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
