VP, Wealth Management Architect (Hybrid - Flexible Options)

Broadridge Financial Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced VP, Wealth Management Architect to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in designing and overseeing the implementation of robust, scalable, and secure technology solutions that align with the business strategies and objectives of the wealth management division. This role involves working closely with business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure that the technology infrastructure supports the firm’s goals, enhances client experiences, and complies with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities: 

Architectural Design & Strategy: 

Develop and maintain the technology architecture roadmap in alignment with business goals for wealth management. 

Design end-to-end solutions that encompass client-facing applications, data management systems, and back-office operations. 

Ensure that architecture meets scalability, performance, and security requirements. 

Stakeholder Collaboration: 

Collaborate with business leaders to understand their needs and translate them into technology requirements. 

Work with IT teams to guide the implementation of architectural plans, ensuring alignment with the overall technology strategy. 

Engage with external vendors to evaluate and integrate third-party solutions where appropriate. 

Technical Leadership: 

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards. 

Conduct architectural reviews and provide recommendations for improvements. 

Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on the organization. 

Data Management & Integration: 

Design and oversee data architecture, ensuring efficient data flows between various systems and applications. 

Implement data governance and security practices to protect sensitive client information. 

Ensure integration with existing systems and data warehouses. 

Security & Compliance: 

Ensure that all technology solutions comply with industry regulations, such as GDPR, SEC, and FINRA guidelines. 

Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement security protocols that protect against data breaches and cyber threats. 

Participate in audits and ensure that architecture adheres to compliance requirements. 

Project Management: 

Lead technology projects from an architectural standpoint, ensuring timely delivery within budget. 

Coordinate with project managers to align resources and timelines with architectural requirements. 

Manage risks associated with architectural decisions and provide mitigation strategies. 

Performance Monitoring & Optimization: 

Monitor the performance of technology solutions, identifying areas for improvement and optimization. 

Implement tools and processes to measure and enhance system performance and reliability. 

Conduct regular assessments of the architecture to ensure it meets evolving business needs. 

 

Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) is a plus. 

Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in technology architecture, with a focus on financial services or wealth management. 

Deep understanding of wealth management business processes and regulatory environment. 

Expertise in enterprise architecture, software development, cloud computing, data management, and cybersecurity. 

Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills. 

Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies.

Salary Range: $225,000 to $250,000 Annual

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
