VP Bank Branch Manager
Willamette Valley Bank is seeking a driven individual with strong business development skills for a VP Bank Branch Manager role. This position will also provide leadership to a team of retail employees while actively working to meet or exceed deposit growth goals.
Some of the Key Responsibilities Include
+ Leads, coaches, develops, supports, and motivates staff to achieve sales, service, and operational goals
+ Understands all Bank products and services and makes recommendations to clients to meet their needs
+ Meet regularly with existing and potential customers to create new or enhance existing relationships, provide information, encourage referrals, explore unmet financial needs and sell products and services to meet the customer’s needs
+ Maintains overall responsibility for Branch sales and service levels. Develops an effective sales culture utilizing sales processes and techniques.
+ Ensures staff comply with regulatory requirements, policies, procedures, and any other Bank requirements.
+ Actively promotes a management team philosophy to ensure support and consistent communication of policies, procedures and sales/service objectives
+ Ensure staff development is available in all areas, sales, service, policies and procedures, product knowledge, operations and compliance
+ Assign employees to significant jobs that might lead to greater personal growth and value, and counsel them with respect to what is needed for upward mobility within the employment structure

Qualifications
+ Proven leadership and management abilities
+ Ability to lead and work effectively on a team
+ Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent experience including 3 or more years of sales experience and 1 year of management experience
+ Highly developed customer service and sales management skills
+ Excellent communication skills; written, verbal, interpersonal
+ Knowledge of bank products and services
+ Knowledge of bank policies and procedures
+ Strong PC skills (MS Office)
+ Ability to be self-directed and function under limited supervision
