VP Billing & Custody Manager - Hybrid
This position will oversee and manage all aspects of billing within the Custody Services business, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant billing operations, as well as reporting, testing tasks and process improvements. This role involves leadership, strategic oversight, and a high level of collaboration with other departments to drive process improvements, involved with special projects such as internal controls, compliance, standard operating procedure writing, resolve and have analytical filter to prioritize and validate complex issues and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication skills are required, as well as maintain high standard of service to institutional clients. The person will be responsible for supervising team members and covering other managers when needed it. **Responsibilities:** + This role combines operational expertise with strategic leadership, focusing on delivering top-tier service to clients while ensuring efficient, complaint billing processes. + Oversee Invoice production and delivery + Ability to work within tight deadlines + Ensure adherence to all audit policies and procedures + Effectively interact with other operating units + Review and approve work + Maintain and improve customer satisfaction + Back-up other managers as needed + Client Facing—internal and/or external clients + Coaches Staff + Defines Training Requirements for Staff + Partner with staff to ensure cross training initiatives are in place + Handles Daily Staffing Issues (errors, etc.) + Manages Workflow Across Team + Reviews Team Metrics and Ensures Timely Resolution of Outstanding Items (including breaks, inquiry volumes, MCA reporting) + Provides Verbal and written mid and end of year Performance Feedback + Provides Day-to-Day manager oversight + Demonstrates Leadership and Management Potential + Identify and Action potential gaps and process improvements **Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree or years equivalent to work experience + 5 years’ experience in Securities industry or Financial experience or equivalent + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + Excellent interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills + Advanced PC skills including MS Excel, MS Power Point and MS Access + A proven ability to learn new processes + Proven ability of excellent customer service as this is a client facing position + Work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines + Investigation and reconciliation ability **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience in a senior leadership role within Custody Services + Knowledge of best practices in Billing and Operations + Familiarity with automation tools and process streamlining technologies + Bilingual (English and Spanish) ------------------------------------------------------ **Job Family Group:** Operations - Transaction Services ------------------------------------------------------ **Job Family:** Reconciliation and Proofing ------------------------------------------------------ **Time Type:** Full time ------------------------------------------------------ **Primary Location:** Tampa Florida United States ------------------------------------------------------ **Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:** $103,920.00 - $155,880.00 In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
