Koniag Government Services (KGS) is looking for an experienced Business Development professional to support aggressive growth strategy for KGS and its entities. This is a remote position with 25-30% travel expectations

**Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:**
+ Identify, develop, track, and close opportunities for Federal Government contracts across our 3 Lines of Business (Fed/Civ, Defense, Health & Operations)
+ Build, develop, and manage relationships with key agency decision makers and partner executives primarily within strategic customer sets to promote the KGS value proposition and position the company to pursue and win prime opportunities and/or direct awards
+ Create and deliver effective client presentations and proposals that address the specific needs of a client. This will include market research capabilities briefings, white papers, RFI’s, and RFP’s
+ Collaborate with Executive Leadership Team in executing the company’s sales process to achieve growth objectives
+ Qualify opportunities maturing through the Business Development Lifecycle
+ Prepare gate review materials with support from Line of Business Presidents, Solution Architects, and Business Development / Capture team members
+ Track, monitor, and prepare for opportunities to be released in systems like GovWin
+ Track maturing of opportunities through KGS’s CRM system: OpNet
**_Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:_**
+ Minimum of ten (10) years of Business Growth experience
+ Candidates must be a US Citizen
+ Experience with Business Development Lifecycle
+ Experience with Proposal Development and Pricing
+ Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills
+ Must be fully fluent in MS Office applications, including Outlook, Word PowerPoint and Excel
