Founded in 1906, McLeod Health is a locally owned and managed, not for profit organization supported by the strength of more than 900 members on its medical staff and more than 2,900 licensed nurses. McLeod Health is also composed of approximately 15,000 team members and more than 90 physician practices throughout its 18-county service area. With seven hospitals, McLeod Health operates three Health and Fitness Centers, a Sports Medicine and Outpatient Rehabilitation Center, Hospice and Home Health Services. The system currently has 988 licensed beds, including Hospice and Behavioral Health. The hospitals within McLeod Health include: McLeod Regional Medical Center, McLeod Health Dillon, McLeod Health Loris, McLeod Health Seacoast, McLeod Health Cheraw, McLeod Health Clarendon and McLeod Behavioral Health.

Shall demonstrate leadership and commitment with respect to the quality management system by: 

(a) promoting the use of the process approach and risk-based thinking; 

(b) engaging, directing and supporting persons to contribute to the effectiveness of the quality management system requirements; 

(c) promoting improvement. 

Administrative and Leadership responsibilities for the operational and improvement activities of assigned departments delivering nursing care and services to patient populations. 

Responsible for concerns of nursing licensure, nursing scopes of practice, philosophy, coordination of care and staffing effectiveness, and nursing quality improvement. 

Supervises multi-position employees in order to contribute to the overall goals of the Medical Center. 

Develop and operationalize the communicated direction and objectives of hospital administrator. 

 

Qualifications/Training: 

Minimum 3 years progressive management experience  

 

Licenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education: 

Must possess a valid SC license - RN, BLS 

Minimum of a master’s degree from an accredited school
