This position will be based in Raritan, NJ. This position focuses on leading horizontal technology integration (crossing business units and regions) within the MedTech sector. The candidate will develop and implement a technology strategy that connects Research & Development (R&D), and Commercial processes globally. They will build strong IT teams across all areas focusing on collaboration and professional growth through training and development. The aim is to create a knowledgeable workforce that stays current with technology trends. Global R&D Technology Leadership: The candidate will create a strategic framework for R&D technology to drive innovation aligned to the NSC optimization. They will implement advanced technologies, promoting a culture of improvement among R&D technology teams. This includes using agile methods to speed up development and working with clinical, regulatory, product lifecycle management and quality teams to meet business goals. A key task is to integrate digital technologies into product development. Global Commercial Technology Leadership: The candidate will lead the development of a technology strategy for commercial operations aligned to the NSC optimization. They will manage IT solutions that support sales and marketing activities. Their work will include deploying digital tools such as CRM and marketing platforms. The candidate will use data insights to ensure technology efforts align with market needs and drive better sales strategies. Customer Experience Management: The candidate will design a customer experience strategy that meets the needs of healthcare providers, patients, and sales representatives. This includes leading a team focused on improving customer satisfaction, developing support programs, and setting up systems to gather customer feedback. Strategic Planning and Execution: The candidate will drive initiatives that align IT strategies with business objectives across the different functions. They will enhance efficiency through digital transformation and manage resources and budgets effectively. This position provides an opportunity to support digital innovation and improve operations within the MedTech field. Major Duties & Responsibilities + End-to-end integration of processes, development value streams, talent and technology in one horizontal supporting the MedTech NSC horizontals + Global Commercial Technology Leadership + Global R&D Technology Leadership + Customer Experience Management + Strategic Planning and Execution Other Duties + Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing IT teams across global R&D, commercial technology, data, analytics, AI, and customer experience functions, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. + Ensure ongoing skill development and capability-building within the IT teams, promoting professional growth and technical expertise. Implement certification programs to keep teams updated with the latest technologies. + Foster strong collaboration with other senior leaders and stakeholders to drive organizational success and innovation. Implement collaboration tools to enhance communication and teamwork. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: + 15+ years of experience in IT leadership roles, preferably within the MedTech or healthcare sector. + Proven track record of leading large-scale technology initiatives and digital transformation projects. + Required Minimum Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information technology, Data Science, or a related field + Strong understanding of R&D processes, commercial operations, and customer experience management in the MedTech industry. + Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. + Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior executives. + Proficiency in cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). + Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, SalesForce). + Understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices. + Experience with IoT technologies and their application in the MedTech sector. + Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, R) and software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, DevOps). + 40% National and International traveled required _Johnson & Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
