This leader will collaborate across the organization to provide subject matter expertise, best practices, and analytic thought leadership, as well as enable the translation of data into actionable insights for strategic and operational decision making. The leader will help influence and improve the analytical acumen of the organization to make well informed, data-driven decisions by providing consulting and advice to others to inform and set priorities. This position will partner closely with Digital Services teams to ensure the data infrastructure, business intelligence infrastructure, analytic tools, and processes to support effective analytics are in place.
This leader is pivotal in enhancing self-service reporting, improving data literacy through education and data governance, and focusing analytics teams' effort on high-value analytics output to inform strategic decisions. Top priorities include alignment of an overall strategy, creation of KPI performance management dashboards, development of an analytics roadmap, and implementation of a data and analytics operating model that unifies analytics production while leveraging agile work team structures.Essential FunctionsSets and leads vision, strategy and delivery for scope of responsibility in alignment with organization’s strategies resulting in exceptional and cost-effective data and analytics services, support and solutions delivery. Proactively highlight areas needing attention and capable of resolving.Facilitates strategic, tactical and operational planning activities to establish meaningful and agreed upon delivery roadmaps.Champions the digital transformation and innovation of the analytics and use of data across the organization - partnering with Digital Services to drive towards solutions that leverage automation, change management, advanced analytics and data, and digitally-enabled solutions.Defines and advances skillsets and talent for reporting and analytical teams focusing on business outcomes throughout Priority Health. Strives to create and foster a data driven decision making culture through the use of actionable analytics to identify areas of opportunity and monitor/improve business performance.Ensures project/program management and agile ways of working are efficient and effective for services delivered. Works collaboratively to establish and guide project/program management activities, governance standards, consistent processes, protocols, and metrics.Promote data literacy, develop and implement data and analytic training and education programs to enhance the maturity of data and analytics across Priority Health.Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's Degree in related fieldMaster's Degree or equivalent in health care, mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, economics, biostatistics, business administration, computer science, engineering, or related field.7 years of relevant experience in people leadership.5 years of relevant experience in managing multiple, large cross-functional teams and/or projects, and influencing management and key stakeholders.10 years of relevant experience in business analytics, financial decision support, or informatics in healthcare analytics, including proven leadership and management experience in a health plan, health system setting or healthcare consulting.
