VP Development - (West US Region)

Provide input to senior management and implement a cohesive strategy for the acquisition, development, management and franchise licensing of the Company’s brands for the America west region.
**Your Day to Day**
+ Direct the execution of a regional development plan for the Luxury, Lifestyle and Premium brands growth that promotes the maximization of each brand’s distribution within a subregion of the US and Canada, drives earnings and fee income, and promotes the growth of shareholder value.
+ Lead and manage the team responsible for annual signings targets to maximize their time and effectiveness.
+ Direct the investigation and evaluation of possible hotel locations and markets, and its owners, that provide strategic representation for the LLP brands.
+ Supervise the due diligence process and oversee the structuring and negotiations and execution of all transactions.
+ Manage and/or prepare documentation within the region for screening each new business opportunity to be considered.
+ Attendance and participation in industry conferences and owner events in order to help drive growth
**What we need from you**
+ Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate or related area, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
+ 10+ years progressive work-related experience with demonstrated proficiency in multiple disciplines/technologies/processes related to the position. Will also have demonstrated management experience in multiple business functions, with an emphasis on development, investment strategy and execution, and asset/portfolio management strategy and implementation.
+ Demonstrated experience in leading and developing people, directly or indirectly
+ Demonstrated business/financial negotiation and influencing/consensus building skills
+ Demonstrated ability to understand complex financial structures
+ Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of investor and development practices
+ Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills for the purpose of presenting and discussing technical information to establish rapport and/or influence and gain understanding of others.
**Location:** Candidate must reside in the western region of the U.S. near a major airport. Colorado preferred.
**The salary range for this role is $147,000 to $260,000** . This role is also eligible for bonus pay (as applicable). We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401K, and other benefits to employees.
