The Director of Procurement at OneMain is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end sourcing process within the Technology category. This includes developing and executing category strategies that optimize cost, quality, and supplier performance while ensuring alignment with the company’s overall business objectives. The Director of Procurement will lead large-scale procurement initiatives, negotiate favorable terms with a large supplier base, and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to drive category performance improvements. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, strategic sourcing expertise, and the ability to manage complex Procurement activities from start to finish. In the Role • Develop and implement category strategies that align with company goals and drives value, cost savings, quality improvements and innovation. • Conduct thorough market analysis to understand industry trends, supplier capabilities, and competitive landscape within the category. • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships to ensure alignment with category strategy. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including operations, finance, and legal teams, to understand business needs and ensure category strategies support those needs. • Lead the end-to-end sourcing process understanding the dynamics of sourcing modern cloud services and supplier relationships - Saas, PaaS, IaaS, including the preparation and management of RFPs, supplier selection, and contract negotiations. • Monitor and manage supplier performance, ensuring that suppliers meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure long-term partnership and continuous improvement.
