We are in the search for a VP/Director of Finance to join our client's team located in Central, Kentucky. You'll play a pivotal role in our operations, focusing on finance and regulatory reporting. Your work will significantly influence our strategic decision-making process, and you will be tasked with leading our financial structuring, budgeting, forecasting, and regulatory reporting efforts.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute the financial strategy of the company, driving strategic priorities forward
• Manage the finance team, guiding annual budget planning, periodic forecasting, and financial reporting functions
• Oversee the preparation and submission of regulatory reports, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations at the local, state, and federal levels
• Establish and maintain robust financial controls, managing all aspects of the Finance department to ensure operations run efficiently
• Assist with ad-hoc analysis, providing data-driven insights to guide decision making across the organization
• Collaborate with executive leadership, providing valuable financial information, insights, and recommendations
• Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and regulatory bodies
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results and forecasts to stakeholders
• Utilize your knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles to enhance performance
• Leverage your understanding of statutory and related regulations to ensure compliance
• Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements • Must have a strong understanding and experience in Accounting Functions
• Demonstrated experience in the creation and management of an Annual Budget
• Proven ability in Auditing and ensuring compliance with financial procedures
• Must possess a solid understanding of Budget Processes and their implementation
• Knowledge and experience in Statutory Accounting is essential
• Familiarity with Statutory Accounting Principles and their application
• Must have experience with Statutory Filings and ensuring compliance with financial regulations
• Demonstrated ability in Statutory Financial Reporting and the preparation of financial reports
• Experience in the creation and analysis of Statutory Financial Statements
• Strong understanding of Statutory Interpretation and its application in finance
• Must have proven experience in Statutory Reporting and ensuring financial transparency
