Description
We are looking to add a VP/Director of Finance to our team, based in Pasadena, California. The successful candidate will play a critical role in strategic financial planning, mergers and acquisitions, and operational finance management. They will also be instrumental in performance measurement, compliance and risk management, team leadership, and financial reporting and analysis.
Responsibilities
· Strategic Financial Leadership: Provide financial guidance to the CEO and executive team, translating strategic goals into actionable financial plans.
· M& A Excellence: Lead the identification, evaluation, and execution of M& A opportunities. Oversee due diligence, financial modeling, valuation, negotiations, and post-merger integration to maximize value creation.
· Operational Finance Management: Manage core financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance, ensuring alignment with the company’s business objectives.
· Performance Measurement: Establish robust systems to track, analyze, and improve financial performance. Regularly review metrics and provide actionable insights to enhance efficiency and outcomes.
· Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure strict adherence to financial regulations and proactively manage risk across all financial operations.
· Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
· Financial Reporting and Analysis: Deliver accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, supporting informed decision-making.
Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
+ Fluency in Mandarin language. Speaking, reading and writing.
+ MBA or advanced degree in the field
+ 10 years of financial leadership experience in technology or manufacturing, with significant expertise in M& A strategy and execution
+ CPA, CFA, or CMA certification
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Advanced financial modeling and analytical capabilities.
· Strong leadership and team management skills.
· Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP, compliance, and risk management.
· Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
