VP/Director of Finance
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the finance industry, located in Joliet, IL . The role of a VP/Director of Finance entails overseeing the overall administration of various departments such as Facility Maintenance, Food Services, Property, Accounting, and Purchasing. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your responsibilities will include processing customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. Responsibilities: • Accurately process customer credit applications and maintain customer credit records. • Coordinate and supervise the activities of assigned departments, ensuring high-quality service delivery. • Responsible for providing staff training and performance feedback to direct reports to aid their growth and development. • Liaise with corporate to develop and maintain adherence to departmental budgets. • Conduct regular review and analysis of financial statements to control expenses and ensure regulatory compliance. • Oversee the center’s purchasing and procurement functions, ensuring regulatory compliance, effective cost comparison and analysis, and fulfillment of contract procedures. • Work with the center’s vendors and subcontractors to maintain positive, beneficial relationships that meet contractual obligations. • Ensure high quality product and services and consistent compliance with all health and safety requirements in the Food Services area. • Collaborate with the Safety Department to ensure compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety regulations and efficient mitigation of all deficiencies identified through routine and annual inspections. Requirements • Candidate must hold a minimum of 2 years of experience in a finance leadership role • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required • Must possess in-depth knowledge of Accounting Functions • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is essential • Ability to prepare and manage the Annual Budget • Prior experience in Auditing is a must • Familiarity with Budget Processes is required • Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary • Must have a thorough understanding of US GAAP The base pay range for this role is between $90K - 105 and your base pay will depend on your skills, experience and training, knowledge, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
