VP/Director of Finance
Description We are in search of a VP/Director of Finance to join our team in the Healthcare, Hospitals, and Social Assistance industry based in Aurora, Illinois. In this role, you will be tasked with overseeing the financial operations, supervising assigned personnel, and providing necessary financial information and analyses to aid in effective operation. Responsibilities: • Supervise and guide assigned personnel in their duties • Oversee the design and upkeep of an accrual accounting system, encompassing accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger • Supervise the creation of monthly and annual financial statements • Oversee the Call Center and Registration Services • Direct and coordinate accounts receivable functions and report systems • Guide and coordinate applications for funding • Oversee coordination and review of third party payer reimbursement reports • Prepare annual budget and conduct monthly and annual cost analyses, forecasts, and pro formas as needed • Analyze implications of new payment structures for the organization • Secure financing as necessary • Provide monthly and annual reports to the Finance Committee and Board of Directors • Negotiate payer contracts and revisions, consulting with the President/CEO as necessary • Coordinate and lead meetings with MCOs • Maintain MCO contract and network information for leadership reference • Participate in the Retirement Committee, provide input regarding investment options, and oversee retirement contribution calculation • Handle special assignments as directed by the President/CEO • Represent the organization with various other agencies and organizations and the public as necessary • Comply with all organization policies and procedures and meet standards of behavior expectations • Follow established guidelines for use and/or disclosure of protected health information • Perform other duties as assigned.
