VP/Director of Finance
Description We are currently seeking a VP/Director of Finance to join our team in Dallas, Texas. As a VP/Director of Finance, you will work closely with the Division President and other team members to lead the division's growth and day-to-day operations. You will also be tasked with overseeing the financial aspects of our homebuilding business, including budgeting, auditing, and managing Accounts Payable. Responsibilities: • Oversee the financial management of homebuilding operations • Collaborate with Sales, Land, and Procurement teams to ensure financial efficiency • Lead the annual budget process and provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization • Manage the use of financial and accounting software systems such as JDE & Excel, Concur, and CRM • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements • Oversee accounts payable process to ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices • Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and transparency in financial reporting • Manage financial aspects of employee relocation as needed, including coordinating packing and moving, providing contract allowances, and arranging contract living accommodations • Oversee the management of company benefits including MDV plans, 401k match, holidays, and vacation time • Responsible for processing and managing bonuses and long-term incentives. Requirements • Must possess proficiency in the use of 3M system • Demonstrated experience with Accounting Software Systems is mandatory • Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is a prerequisite • Experience with Concur software is necessary • Must have a strong understanding of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems • Proficiency in handling Accounting Functions is required • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) processes is essential • Ability to manage and prepare an Annual Budget is required • Must have a solid background in Auditing • Experience with Budget Processes is fundamental to the role Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
