Description We are in search of a Director of Finance to join our team in San Francisco, California. The role involves managing the financial aspects of our operations, including budgeting, financial reporting, and medical billing, in the healthcare industry. This contract to permanent opportunity will also involve leading a team of financial professionals and collaborating with other department heads. Responsibilities: • Lead the development and management of annual budgets and long-term financial plans. • Supervise the preparation of financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow projections. • Oversee the end-to-end revenue cycle processes, from patient registration to claims submission and collections. • Ensure that billing and coding practices are accurate to minimize denials and stay up-to-date with medical billing regulations, coding updates, and reimbursement policies. • Collaborate with billing teams to analyze and resolve claim rejections or delays. • Lead and mentor a team of accountants, billing specialists, and collections staff. • Work alongside department heads to align financial and operational goals. • Provide training and support on financial tools, systems, and medical billing best practices. • Evaluate, implement, and manage financial and billing software systems to improve efficiency and accuracy. • Develop and implement policies for the seamless integration of financial and billing processes.
