The VP, Document Risk Control Team Lead (DRC Team Lead), is a member of the Document Risk Control department within the Rural Operations Team supporting the Originations and Servicing of Agricultural loans and collateral documentation for the Direct Lending Rural Business. This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day workflow and leading a high-performance team that can ensure accuracy in following policy and procedure, conduct document reviews on loans consistent with approval conditions and company policy, and accurately perform processes and controls in support of the Rural Sales and Rural Operations teams.
Job Responsibilities
In order to perform these duties, the VP, Document Risk Control Team Lead, must have a strong knowledge of loan & collateral documentation, legal entity structures, a understanding of collateral perfection & releases for real and personal property, lien priority and ownership (including UCC ART. 9, mortgages; deed of trusts; title policies and title endorsements), flood reviews & monitoring, property and casualty insurance monitoring, waivers, forbearances, and extensions. In-depth knowledge of collateral documentation requirements, product guidelines, general closing requirements and internal business processes, and the ability to identify risks and solutions to provide client value are essential. General knowledge of the agricultural industry is necessary, as well as the ability to understand and apply various state specific requirements to loan documentation. In-depth knowledge of Regulatory Flood requirements and related Compliance is desired.

To be considered for the Vice President - DRC Team Lead role, you must have:
Bachelor’s Degree, OR minimum of 10 years of agricultural, commercial, or consumer loan processing and documentation, and/or legal experience required.
Thorough understanding of U.S. and state level laws & regulations regarding securing personal and real property
Experience in uniform Commercial Code work as related to agriculture
Working knowledge of banking, insurance and farm credit regulations (e.g. FRB, OFAC, Flood, etc.)
Understanding of attachment and perfection of security interests in collateral, and the Uniform Commercial Code as related to agriculture

Salary Expectations:
Target Hiring Range: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00
This position is subject to the terms of [RAF/Rabobank/RDS]’s compensation plans and policies. It is anticipated that the position will pay within the target hiring range. The range is reflective of the desired primary physical work location and may be adjusted outside of the projected range based on geographical differentiation if the actual work location of the hired candidate differs from the desired primary location, or for other lawful reasons. Further, all full-time regular positions include all other benefits provided to [RAF/Rabobank/RDS] employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
