VP - Engineering Lead Analyst - Hybrid

Citi’s Chief Technology Office is responsible for establishing and executing Citi’s core technology strategy, supporting all of Citi’s businesses across Markets, Services, Banking, Wealth, US Personal Banking, Risk, Finance, and Functions. This group has engineers, architects, and strategists focused on scalable systems development, cloud and data architecture, systems modernization, developer productivity, emerging technology, and the use of AI at scale.

The Standards and Innovations team reports to Citi’s CTO and designs and implements mature technology procedures and processes, drives process reengineering and process risk remediation. With a goal to drive process modernization and simplification, we are seeking to bring in a seasoned engineering analyst who will lead the assessment of current technology processes and design and implement consistent automated technology delivery processes.

The VP-Engineering Lead Analyst is a seasoned engineering practitioner who stays abreast of industry best practices in technology delivery processes, automation and tooling; and contributes to continuous process improvement and risk reduction.

This role requires deep engineering experience to be able to assess and design technology delivery processes. To be successful, the person will need strong communication skills, problem solving and influencing skills. The role will provide advice and counsel related to the technology standards, processes, or operations of the technology delivery.

Responsibilities:

Assess current technology delivery processes to identify opportunities for simplification, standardization and automation.Proactively assess current technology delivery processes against technology standards and procedures to improve process complianceDesign and implement process automation leveraging various technology delivery tools.Evaluate current technology delivery processes across development, testing and implementation of change to reduce delivery risk, improve developer experience and overall productivity.Define key metrics to measure technology delivery process maturity and risk.Develop automated controls that ensure proactive risk managementConducts and facilitates key forums and working groups to drive governance initiativesEnforces the current key processes with intra/inter organizations and performing oversight of management and critical controls within the organizationGuides, influences and persuades others with strong communication and diplomacy skills.Performs other job duties and functions as assignedAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency


Qualifications:

6-10 years of engineering experienceKnowledge of software engineering conceptsExperience with software delivery and testing toolsProven ability to develop efficient and effective processesConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communicationManagement and prioritization skillsRequires sophisticated analytical thought to resolve issues in a variety of complex situationsAbility to manage multiple activities and changing prioritiesExperience working in Financial Services or a large complex and/or global environmentComprehensive knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, benchmarking activities and related reporting to identify best practices


Education:

Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$125,760.00 - $188,640.00
