VP -Forex Product Manager (Cash Management)

What is the opportunity?

The VP FX Product Manager within RBC Capital Markets US Cash Management team will be responsible for devising, supporting and driving the FX Payments strategy and associated roadmap in a startup environment. Collaborating with the broader FX product team, the FX product manager will represent the voice of the customer, and be responsible for the go to market strategy as new product features are released.

What will you do?

Contribute to establishing the vision and the road map for Cash Management payment products, embedding FX/Cross-currency functionality across the full suite of products.Ensure strategy aligns with organization and department goals as well as supports client experience and needs.Acts as the voice of the client in product and workflow design, gathering direct feedback from customers/stakeholders on the future feature roadmap.Participate in client discussions and solutioning related to payment products with focus on FX.Collaborate with cross divisional teams such as operations, macro/trading, legal, compliance and risk where required to progress the product development and product launch.Drive the Go-to-Market readiness for product roll outs, such as providing training and support to teams in Operations, Client Services, Sales and other functional areasAssess and evaluate external partnership opportunities to accelerate the suite of rails/markets that are available for customersStay current or participate industry forum where necessary such as AFP and Nacha conference (remote or in person) where required to gain industry and client insight and support of future and emerging products development.

What do you need to succeed?

Undergraduate Degree required, Masters Degree preferredPrior experience in FX, Payments or Treasury preferred5+ years of experience in financial services, either in product or strategyAbility to develop business cases and syndicate for buy-inClient centric and innovative mindset in product design.Must be a team player who works well with technical and non-technical resources.Startup mindset (comfortable with quick pace, quick change, ambiguities)Strong organizational skillsA \"can do\" attitude, with an ability to problem-solve.Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate to all project members and stakeholders.A bias to action and execution

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $150,000 -

$200,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs.  This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
