VP & GM, Hematology & Urinalysis
Key Responsibilities · Architect the Hematology & Urinalysis Business Unit (BU) strategy development and execution to achieve profitable above market growth. · Accountable for the new product pipeline roadmap, including the development of business cases, the implementation of strategies to accelerate time-to-market, and driving the Launch Excellence ( LEx ) process. · Drive external customer satisfaction through aligning the organization to deliver annual improvements in product performance. · Lead through a matrix organization via creating strong cross functional alignment to deliver against common core value drivers for the Heme/UA business. · Partner with commercial colleagues to architect above-market growth in each of Beckman Coulter’s direct and distributor markets, while accounting for local competitive forces and building the appropriate countermeasures required to win. · Establish a data-driven culture of accountability by incorporating Danaher Business System (DBS) tools into daily work and management. Essential Qualifications · Knowledge: Accomplished business leader with experience managing R&D, Program Management, Product Management and Commercial functions. · Skills: Leadership, critical thinking, and decision making, exceptional communication skills, customer focused, quality & compliance oriented, risk management skills with a demonstrated ability to lead large complex organizations. · Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree with 20+ years’ experience or Masters/ Doctoral degree with 18+ years’ experience; experience includes 6+ years managing people at executive level. Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical or life science industry preferred. · Experience in strategic planning, tactical execution, and relationship management; strong history of driving business success. · Outstanding coaching, communication, and people management skills, enabling strong team performance, leading conflict resolution, and managing tradeoffs. · Ability to build strong teams, strategically deploy resources, and enable positive team culture. · Ability to travel minimum 30% Join our winning team today.
