ADP is hiring a VP of AI to join our Global Product & Technology team.  The successful candidate will report to the Chief Product & AI Officer. 

In this role, the successful candidate will oversee OneAI Engineering Organization and be expected to develop and maintain AI Models and Infrastructure.   

  

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of AI solutions.  Establish and coordinate Data and AI Solutions, Architecture and Machine Learning operations (MLOPs) as a critical function of ADP’s commitment to clients, ethical use of data, and regulatory compliance.  Implement and adhere to best practices in AI engineering.   Cross-Product Development coordination of AI/Data Science and ML across ADP’s Product Offerings to develop the methods and applications, nurturing a community of practice across ADP (product development, operations and business units).  Ensure best practices in data modeling, feature engineering, and model evaluation are followed.    Establish data quality and integrity standards to ensure trustworthy and unbiased models.    Thought leadership, outbound interaction, speaking and promotion to ADP’s clients, other technology partners, and into external industry or technical forums. 

 

 Technical Attributes: 

Deep understanding of machine learning, neural networks, natural language processing and semantic representation/graph reasoning.  Communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.   Hands on experience with python or R, and use of standard ML libraries including SciKitLearn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, BERT, GPT3.  Experience in the design and deployment of machine learning into operational production systems, including aspects of MLOperations and tool sets such as Sagemaker, MLFlow.  Experience in the design of operational systems using data science or machine learning, including instrumentation for label generation, user intent classification, active learning, model drift assessment, and bias detection.  Recognized expert in the field demonstrated through publications, speaking opportunities and press coverage. 

  

Leadership Scope: 

Build location strategy in global locations (US, Brazil, Spain, and India).  Foster a culture of experimentation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the OneAI organization.   Interact with peer executives from product management, product development and human experience.  Executive presence and influence across senior product development and business unit management, up to C-levels inside ADP.  Establish and cultivate cross-corporation technology partnerships with key ADP technology providers such as Amazon/AWS, IBM, Microsoft and Databricks, as well as relationships with key advisors such as McKinsey, Impetus and Slalom Data.

Preferred Qualifications: 

Experience in high-growth tech companies, startups, or Fortune 500 enterprises.   Knowledge of business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI) and data pipeline frameworks.   Familiarity with ethical AI, bias mitigation, and regulatory compliance in AI applications.

 

Requirements: 

15+ years of progressive experience in AI, Data science, and Machine Learning and/or related disciplines either in technology application (ex: financial services offerings) or product development.  MS or PHD in Data Science, Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field.   Proven track record of developing and deploying large-scale AI/ML models in a product environment.   Deep understanding of statistical modeling, NLP, deep learning, and generative AI.   Experience with big data technologies, MLOps, and data engineering principles.
