Position Overview
This role oversees the Clinical, Nursing, and Quality Assurance divisions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, fostering a culture of innovation, and driving continuous improvement. You will work closely with the leadership team to align departmental goals with The Arc’s mission and vision, ensuring quality outcomes and organizational success.
Key Responsibilities
+ Leadership and Supervision:
Oversee Clinical, Nursing, and Quality Assurance operations, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and organizational objectives. Provide leadership, training, coaching, and development for high-performing teams.
+ Innovation and Quality Assurance:
Design and implement quality systems to support clinical excellence, continuous improvement, and operational efficiency across departments.
+ Strategic Change Management:
Develop and implement frameworks to drive organizational transformation, ensuring innovative and effective solutions for the individuals we serve.
+ Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
Build strong relationships with external auditors, regulatory agencies, and accreditation bodies to maintain compliance and uphold high standards.
+ Metrics and Data Analysis:
Develop quality outcome measures, monitor program effectiveness, and utilize data analytics to drive performance improvements.
+ Fiscal Responsibility:
Manage departmental budgets to align with organizational objectives, ensuring efficient resource allocation and fiscal accountability.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Behavioral Health, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is required; Master’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Nursing, Public Health, Clinical Psychology, Healthcare Leadership) is strongly preferred.
+ Licensure and Certification:
An active, unrestricted professional license in Nursing (RN) or a clinical discipline (e.g., BCBA, LMHC) is highly preferred. Additional relevant certifications or advanced credentials are advantageous but not required.
Experience:
+ Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in clinical services, nursing, or quality assurance within healthcare, human services, or non-profit organizations.
+ Regulatory Compliance Expertise:
Proven experience managing regulatory audits and ensuring compliance with CARF, DDS OQE, or similar accreditation standards.
+ Leadership Skills:
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, foster collaboration, and drive organizational change.
+ Data-Driven Decision Making:
Strong proficiency in data analysis to support evidence-based decision-making and performance improvement.
+ Communication Skills:
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams effectively.
+ Additional Requirements:
Valid driver’s license, relevant certifications, and acceptable background checks.
