Job Details Responsible for coordinating and planning product standardization initiatives for CHS, this role involves overseeing daily operations and management of product standardization and utilization. Active engagement with all CHS entities on issues related to systems and standardization programs is essential. The position also entails managing product and financial due diligence in collaboration with the Directors of Peri-Operative Services and Materials Managers. The VP of Clinical Resources will partner with entity management to prioritize patient safety and ensure the highest quality of care, while also optimizing operating room efficiency, reducing costs, minimizing patient delays, and enhancing satisfaction for patients, staff, and physicians. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Manages OR Functions through a reporting relationship with the Directors of Peri-Operative Services, ensuring thorough due diligence for new procedures, product additions, and financial outcome assessments. Provides consultative support to all entities as needed. Manages all clinical Focus Groups to ensure effective product use and standardization across all CHS entities. Cultivates a collaborative environment to encourage teamwork among all divisions. The Focus Team is engaged to launch practical and sensible cost-saving measures alongside effective product utilization. The Focus Forum is employed to address and evaluate relevant clinical matters that may emerge within our system. It encourages participation from all team members to share insights and experiences. Evaluates all clinical product requests before they are presented to the Product Evaluation/Standardization Committee and supports the Asset Management division in reviewing products concerning capital acquisitions. This role involves overseeing and managing all aspects of clinical product conversions, including contracts, distribution processes, and any changes to these processes. Establishes product and usage standards throughout the continuum of care for all CHS entities. Proficient in making prompt and suitable decisions that address the clinical requirements of end users, ensuring the delivery of advanced and optimal patient care while being conscious of financial obligations. This role involves coordinating and supporting special projects while also carrying out additional tasks as assigned. Manages the supplier relationship and is the main point of contact for engagement Establishes and maintains regular cadence with suppliers and implements category management rigor to ensure optimal supplier performance, value and partnership. Incorporates Catholic health strategic priorities with Clinical Resource planning initiatives to enhance operational excellence Ability to identify and implement innovative solutions through stakeholder consensus; partner with suppliers to be more innovative across all Catholic Health functions POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Registered Nurse, Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Master’s degree preferred. Skills: Proficient in Federal, State, and Joint Commission regulations, with strong written and verbal communication abilities across all organizational levels. Familiarity with relevant software applications, including Microsoft Office. Experience: Possesses a decade of experience in Clinical Management, encompassing purchasing, budgeting, contract negotiation, and managerial expertise, along with ten years of experience in the Operating Room environment. Salary Range USD $250,000.00 - USD $300,000.00 /Yr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
