VP of Finance
Responsible for the accounting activities of the organization in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), including forecasting, budgeting and general accounting. Ensures all accounting and financial reporting functions follow Company policy and are in legal and regulatory compliance. Responsible for accurate and timely reporting of the financial results of the Company’s operations.

This leader is a member of the senior leadership team, reporting to the OpCo President and is responsible for management and direction of Finance Department staff, achieving performance metrics, and expense and revenue management.

Directs financial strategy, planning, and forecasts; Is operationally responsible for all financial reporting to OpCo President and PFG Corporate. Provides high level analytical support in areas of strategic financial importance.

Serves as a strategic partner to the President and senior leadership team in setting overall operational long and short term strategies and analyzing and reporting on trends, opportunities, risks and projections of future growth. Participates in the development of the Company’s financial policies, and demonstrates understanding of strategic direction, key initiatives, and success factors and their impact on ROIC and EBITDA.

Analyzes new business opportunities for OpCo and ensure that the opportunities are aligned with the Company strategy. Supports OpCo President and senior leadership team in implementing techniques to ensure continuous business improvements.

Prepares budget to actual variance analysis on monthly financial performance and other formal communications. Provides OpCo President and PFG Corporate with detailed review of financial reports of Company operating results.

Leads the budgeting process and works with OpCo President to establish budget goals and oversees budget process for entire OpCo.

Supervises management team who directs the daily management of departments that may include Accounting, Credit, Inventory Control, Contracts and IT, and Retail which may include, but not limited to: financial reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, credit management, fixed assets and rebate tracking areas and inventory control.

Manages a large volume of financial transactions and compliance activities.

Continually evaluates OpCo performance and adjusts activities to meet or exceed plan

Actively supports other departments in the achievement of their financial and service goals.

Performs other related duties as assigned.
