OverviewThe VP of Food & Beverage is primarily responsible for coordinating, supervising and directing all property food and beverage operations at ‘Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach and strategically supporting Area Hotels, maintaining a profitable F&B department while maintaining high quality products and service levels. He/she is also responsible for supervising the implementation and maintenance of Corporate F&B programs, brand standards at hotels, creating new strategies and bold initiatives throughout the region. ResponsibilitiesEmployees must at all times be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and fellow employees.Monitor F&B Leaders & Chefs in participation Sales, Revenue Management and Catering to ensure that minimum revenue standards and minimum rental standards are followed.Review and monitor all properties’ F&B revenue action plans. Adapt to local market conditions. Continually inspire the team to create revenue strategies and guest programming for a healthy and balanced scorecard.Work with F&B Leaders and Chefs and keep them informed of F&B issues as appropriate.Conduct weekly expense reviews including labor and Other to ensure costs are kept in lineAssist in creating seasonal offerings with Chef and work with PR Agency for marketing initiatives and timelines.Work alongside PR Agency for Social platform engagement and marketing.Keep immediate supervisor fully informed of all problems or matters requiring his/her attention.Conduct regular meetings with F&B Leaders at each hotel.Act as a resource and provide direction to F&B Leaders and Chefs in budgeting and forecasting.Monitor quality of product, and prioritize need areas with F&B leaders and Chefs.Ensure all hotels’ compliance with F&B SOP’s.Be involved in and/or conduct departmental and hotel training (CARE, One to One), etc. Monitor training and review compliance with the GM and EVP of OperationsAssist in new hotel conversions, according to the Conversion Checklist and Highgate Hotel SOP’s.Interview candidates for F&B management positions and follow standards for hiring approvals.Ensure overall guest satisfaction. Qualifications
Education & Experience:
At least 6 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field; or a 4-year college degree and at least 3 years of related experience; or a 2-year college degree and 4 or more years of related experience. Must be proficient in Windows, Company approved spreadsheets and programs, Reading and understanding Profit and Loss statements, Creating and leading budgets and forecasts.Must have knowledge of F&B preparation techniques, health department rules and regulations, liquor laws and regulations.Physical requirements:
Flexible scheduling Long hours sometimes required.Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.Extensive travel might be required.General Requirements:

Salary: $200K-$230K Annually
