VP of Marketing & Sales Growth

Tatte Bakery & Café is poised for significant expansion. We are seeking a forward-thinking, innovative marketer who will spearhead our communication strategy, building Brand Tatte in a way that amplifies our values and efforts as we tell our story. This position is a key leadership role responsible for driving the strategic growth of the company. This role encompasses oversight of marketing, eCommerce, and loyalty. This person will be tasked with expanding Tatte’s brand presence across all channels.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Growth Leadership:

Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing/amplification strategy that aligns with Tatte’s Brand Purpose, Mission, Concept Essence, Core Values and business objectives. Work effectively and strategically with the leadership team and board of directors to enable and enact strong marketing/amplification strategies to engage our guests in meaningful ways to drive Tatte love. Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive team, delivering brand insights that drive business decisions.

Marketing & Brand Management:

Oversee the entire spectrum of our marketing & amplification efforts. Work within the brand & concept to deliver brand storytelling that upholds and amplifies Tatte’s mission and concept essence. Lead the marketing team by setting clear objectives, performance goals, and professional development plans, ensuring high performance and innovation. Oversee all marketing efforts, including digital marketing, content creation, brand strategy, media buying and public relations. Evaluate performance of key metrics to ensure desired outcomes. Lead “customer curiosity” for the team. Understand our guest, our business and the market landscape to inform communication strategies, customer targeted campaigns, and guest engagement programs. Drive customer acquisition both in-café and digitally to drive guest excitement and retention. Drive loyalty strategies to maximize lifetime value. Collaborate with the culinary and operations teams to communicate our product innovation that inspires guests to walk across the street and come to Tatte instead of our competitors. Identify and deliver compelling brand engagement opportunities across new and existing markets, both in online and offline communities.

eCommerce & Digital Strategy:

Lead eCommerce team to develop and execute of Tatte’s eCommerce strategy, and online customer journey from discovery to purchase Lead the development, launch, and oversight of Tatte’s engagement/loyalty program including CRM activities.

Leadership & Team Management:

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing and growth team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. Collaborate closely with the CEO and other senior leaders to ensure alignment on business goals and objectives. Build strong relationships with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders to support growth initiatives.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred. Experience: At least 5 years of experience at the VP level or higher overseeing marketing function at a high-growth, high-volume multi-unit organization (hospitality highly preferred) Experience in scaling a marketing function for a fast growing, multi-unit company, ideally within the food, hospitality, or retail sector. Skills: Strategic thinker with a proven ability to drive business outcomes through marketing/amplification strategies. Exceptional leadership, with the ability to inspire and influence across all organizational levels. o Proven track record in developing, growing and executing a marketing strategy across the organization, while creating a vision and effectively driving change.
