We are seeking a VP of Renewals to drive customer retention, satisfaction, and growth within Ideagen's existing customer base in region. 

Responsibilities

Lead the renewals organization, overseeing a growing team focused on maximizing revenue retention, minimizing churn, and expanding customer relationships. The VP will work cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Professional Services, Product, and Marketing teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and the continued success of our solutions.


• Develop and implement a comprehensive, regional renewals strategy that aligns with the company's goals and growth targets.
• Lead and manage the end-to-end renewals process to ensure high retention rates and customer satisfaction.
• Establish and refine renewals metrics, KPIs, and processes to maximise renewal rates and customer lifetime value.
• Drive initiatives aimed at minimizing churn, expanding customer relationships, and ensuring long-term satisfaction with the company’s SaaS products.
• Identify and mitigate renewal risks early by working closely with Customer Success and Support teams to resolve customer issues.
• Collaborate with Sales and Account Management teams to identify upsell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities during the renewal process
• Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, challenges, and goals to offer tailored solutions and improve overall retention.
• Partner closely with the Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless integration across the customer lifecycle.
• Utilize data and analytics to monitor the performance of the renewals team, track renewal trends, and make informed decisions.
• Develop regular reports and dashboards to measure team performance, customer satisfaction, and overall retention metrics.
• Leverage CRM and renewal management tools to automate and streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.

Skills and Experience

• Requisite experience in SaaS, with a proven track record in customer retention, renewals, or customer success.
• Relevant leadership experience managing high-performing teams, ideally in a SaaS or technology-driven environment.
• In-depth understanding of SaaS business models, subscription economics, and customer lifecycle management.

• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop teams.
• Proven ability to implement and scale successful renewals strategies in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyse and interpret data to drive decision-making and improve performance.
• Expertise in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, ZenDesk, GainSight), contract management, and renewals automation tools.

• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• High emotional intelligence and a customer-centric mindset.
• Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-changing environment and maintain focus on key objectives.
