This role is pivotal in ensuring program excellence, compliance, and sustainability while fostering collaboration and innovation across service lines. As a senior leader, the Vice President contributes to organizational strategy and culture through active participation in the senior leadership team. Minimum Qualifications: + Education:Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Health/Human Services required. + Experience:Minimum of five years of administrative experience in behavioral health settings. + Licensure/Certifications:Valid NYS Driver’s License required. QHP status preferred. + Familiarity with OASAS regulations and behavioral health system operations strongly preferred. Skills & Competencies: + Leadership:Proven ability to build, lead, and motivate multidisciplinary teams. + Communication:Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience working with diverse populations and community service providers. + Regulatory Knowledge:Familiarity with OASAS 820 and 816 regulations, outpatient clinic guidelines, and behavioral health system operations. + Problem-Solving:Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. + Technical Proficiency:Proficient in electronic records and Microsoft Office, with the ability to generate reports and manage data. + Time Management:Ability to balance competing priorities and remain calm in high-pressure situations. + Collaboration:Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and crisis services. Job Requirements: Key Responsibilities: Program Leadership & Operational Oversight + Ensure operational success by meeting key metrics that reflect program performance and sustainability. + Develop and execute strategic plans for residential services, aligning with organizational goals and objectives. + Oversee the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and new service lines to support organizational growth. + Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as accreditation standards. + Monitor and manage budgets and utilization for programs, ensuring financial sustainability. Staff Supervision & Development: + Facilitate motivational team building and provide group supervision to program leadership. + Provide direct supervision for program leaders through audits, observations, and regular feedback. + Conduct staff evaluations as prescribed by the agency. + Identify training needs and ensure ongoing professional development for all assigned program staff. + Recruit, screen, and onboard prospective staff, providing robust training for all new direct reports. + Foster a culture of support, professional development, and skill-building for staff at all levels. Program Collaboration & Coordination + Assure coordination of care between internally connected programs, such as utilization management and direct care services. + Work closely with the CCBHC Project Director to ensure alignment with FLACRA policies, treatment philosophy, and regulatory guidelines, including CCBHC requirements. + Collaborate with clinical services, outpatient programs, and administrative departments to ensure seamless service delivery. Performance Monitoring & Improvement + Collaborate with quality assurance teams to implement performance improvement initiatives. + Monitor client satisfaction, address concerns, and implement service improvements to enhance client outcomes. + Ensure productivity standards are met by staff while maintaining optimal service delivery levels. Community & Stakeholder Engagement + Develop and maintain relationships with community groups, referral sources, and service agencies to support program goals. + Represent the agency in community presentations and training programs. + Participate in on-call rotation to provide support for crisis situations and leadership needs. Other Responsibilities: + Provide clinical supervision to staff, ensuring high-quality care and adherence to professional standards. + Monitor data, reporting, and records to maintain compliance and drive informed decision-making. + Contribute to the agency’s senior leadership team by driving collaboration, strategic solutions, and organizational culture. + Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
