We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Sales to drive revenue growth within the Department of Defense and Federal agencies. TheVice President of Saleswill be responsible for driving revenue and managing the sales team. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales leadership, particularly within the government sector. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of theDepartment of Defenseand Federal agencies, and the ability to develop and execute sales strategies that align with our business objectives. Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): Driving Revenueand Managing the Sales Team: - Lead and manage the sales team, including hiring, training, and performance management to ensure peak productivity and morale. - Establish robust sales processes and methodologies to optimize sales efficiency and effectiveness, driving measurable results. Developing Sales Plans: - Create and implement aggressive strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets, driving significant business growth. - Develop comprehensive sales plans that align with the company's strategic goals and market opportunities. ‍ Managing the Sales Team: - Hire, train, and mentor the sales team, providing ongoing support and coaching to foster professional development and success. - Foster a high-performance sales culture through effective leadership and motivation. Building Relationships: - Maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders. - Develop and nurture long-term relationships with Department of Defense and Federal agencies. Analyzing Market Trends: - Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify new business opportunities and inform strategic decisions. - Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
