The VP of Population Health Operations provides strategic leadership, oversight, and direction for the Value Based Care operations within Innovative Healthcare Collaborative of Indiana (IHCI). The VP will have primary responsibility for oversight of value-based care contract management and health system engagement. The role is responsible for but not limited to:
Formulate and implement plans and tactical actions to achieve operating results Develop and maintain KPI dashboards for performance tracking Drive success across PHO functions including HCC Coding, Provider Engagement, Network Optimization, and Market Operations Collaborate closely with Clinical, IT, Analytics, and Medical Economics leaders Implement appropriate structures within value-based care operations Develop accountability frameworks across organizational functions Support IHCI's parent companies and strategic partnerships Work collaboratively with leaders, providers, partners, and payers Ensure implementation of industry best practices Navigate rapidly changing healthcare environment Serve as visible and engaging member of Executive Leadership Team Act as trusted partner for IHCI stakeholders Partner with Executive Leadership team to deliver cost-effective services Maintain high quality standards in patient care delivery Lead strategic initiatives to achieve organizational goals Build and optimize provider networks Drive operational excellence across all Population Health Operation functions
Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
Applicants for this role must have the ability to navigate complex/matrixed organizational structures and build effective relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve strategic results.
Bachelor’s degree in business or a health-related field is required Eight (8) or more years of experience leading Medicare ACOs, working with managed care products, leading population health operations, process improvement, and organizational effectiveness Eight (8) or more years of experience in a leadership role Experience with the development of independent leaders capable of advancement Strategic leader with the ability to develop a clear and actionable vision and position IHCI for optimal performance and growth Proven success with a leadership style of evidence-based practices forming the foundation for a culture of excellence Experience building effective teams
