VP-Regional Sales

***** The chosen candidate will reside in one of the following states: Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

Lead a high activity sales model with multiple sales directors and managers across an assigned regional territory. Span of control includes sales directors and managers and their respective sales teams of roughly 100+ individual contributors. Responsible for delivering sales plan through disciplined activity execution, full staffing, and sales productivity improvement.  Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan, working with Regional Vice Presidents, to ensure that revenue and profit goals are met. Recruit, develop, coach, and support new and existing Sales Directors and Managers as well as sales team members. Collaborate internally to drive best practices through the organization.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Successful track record of managing through the use of formal weekly activity guidelines and technology-based activities measurement system, and a targeted account strategy. Executive presence and proficiency in consultative selling skills. Strong presentation and communication skills. Competitive spirit, strong leadership skills, and a track record of accomplishments required.

Working Environment/Safety Requirements:

Field based position. Opportunity to work remotely. Approximately 50-75% travel.

Experience/Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Minimum three years managing the sales process and team in a business to business sales environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contact management databases. abases.
