Role:
Product Leader for Datavant’s Requester Products, overseeing the development of products to deliver clinical healthcare data to attorneys, copy services, life insurance, government agencies and others.
Key Goals:
Formalize the product offering to satisfy requesters of clinical healthcare data. Build a team over time to ensure we configure the product for each requester type.Responsibilities:
Define and drive the product roadmap for Datavant’s Requester Products, accommodating configurations by the type of Requesters. Collaborate closely with the Commercial and Operations teams to realize new revenue and cost-savings opportunities Build and grow our product management team for this area Serve as “tip of the spear” with customers on new requester types, intake methodologies, and value added services to enable ease of use for customers Partner with the Commercial team, and training and supporting those team members to scale solutions across our customer base Partner with Engineering and Operations to deliver well-scoped, timely and high quality products and features that add value for our customers. Champion product innovation processes like our product development life cycle, product operations and technology, product and operations alignment and initiative development, including identifying innovative mechanisms for expanding access to clinical and non-clinical data. Lead impactful efforts hands-on, ensuring high-quality execution. Serve as a strong communicator, coach, and mentor within the organization. Increase adoption of the Smart Request platform and position Smart Request's suite of features and capabilities to increase adoption, and growth of the Requester business.Qualifications
You have 10+ years in a product, focused on healthcare, health data and/or health technology. Experience in coding is a plus. You have built products from ideation to launch and find greenfield product development energizing. Familiarity with healthcare data exchanges, interoperability in healthcare, associated standards, etc. Experience in clinical data access products, including requester products for legal, insurance, and other use cases. You are motivated by talking to customers, conducting market research, solving complex problems, and driving high customer value. You have high bandwidth and high productivity – you are noted for your ability to simultaneously manage multiple topics You are a very clear writer and have experience creating vision, roadmap and specification documents. You are a great communicator and have the confidence to lead planning meetings with engineering and the ability to present concepts and timelines to sales staff and clients You work hard – you’re best working at full speed and engaging on difficult problems You’re highly organized – you are systematic, don’t drop tasks and document your progress You are motivated by getting stuff done - you see and understand the big picture and know how to contribute to it by delivering new features, projects and value month by month You are a team player – you are smart, nice, and low ego.
