Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled VP/Sr. Director of Planning to lead the monthly Sales & Operations Planning process. The ideal candidate will ensure cross-functional alignment, develop feasible long-term supply and demand plans, and continuously improve processes for effective action planning and decision making.
ResponsibilitiesDrive the Configure-To-Order supply chain with inventory at intelligent locations to minimize time to market and maximize flexibility.Monitor and maintain visibility to inventory health, ensuring sufficient resources are available while proactively troubleshooting and resolving issues.Formulate the future strategic direction for Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SI&OP) and the Demand Planning and Supply Planning organization.Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Business System Analysis and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).Identify and assess opportunities for structural, technology, and capability enhancements.Summarize complete sales, inventory, and operations plans into standardized, succinct management reports for presentation to various levels of the organization.Provide leadership to a team of supply planning analysts by establishing long-term vision and near-term performance objectives for the Global Supply Chain Supply Planning team, including setting and reviewing performance and development objectives for each team member.Define opportunities for improvement driven by operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and cost optimization.Ensure alignment of each functional group to SI&OP procedures and maintain continuous improvement plans for ongoing development of process and system capabilities.Serve as an escalation panel for conflict resolution in optimizing service, costs, and inventory.Lead monthly reporting for measuring SI&OP effectiveness (Revenue, Forecast Accuracy, Inventory optimization, Customer On-Time Delivery, and Productivity). Ensure Root Cause Analytics and Corrective Actions methods drive performance improvements in these areas.Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Essential SkillsExpertise in Demand Planning, Analytics, Supply Chain Management, and Technology.Proficiency in SKU Planning and Inventory Management.Exceptional data analytics capability.Project management experience, particularly in supply chain transformation and business process improvement.Budget management and financial analysis skills.People management and project leadership experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's or advanced degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Supply Chain, or Management is preferred.Work EnvironmentThis position is 100% remote with a flexible schedule, ideally working from 8 am to 5 pm.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $200000.00 - $225000.00
