RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design and develop complex requirements to accomplish business goals.

Ensure that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.

Contribute to story refinement/defining requirements.

Estimate work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle.

Perform spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.

Code solutions and unit tests to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.

Utilize multiple architectural components in the design and development of client requirements.

Resolve technical complexities involved in realizing story work.

Design and develop solution architectures to scale backend systems using Python, Mulesoft, Java, Spring Boot and rest specifications.

Design and develop production ready software using web, cloud and distributed technologies including Apache Spark, Hadoop, Microservices, and CI/CD cloud deployment.

Design and develop new proof of concept projects to enhance current software systems to handle increased traffic and larger datasets with Elasticsearch, Redis, and Kafka.

Analyze and design data models, data ingestion algorithms and performing data mining to identify patterns for fraud investigation, surveillance, and compliance on structured data sources, including Oracle and Big data solutions.

Build container and cloud ready applications utilizing Openshift and Kubernetes to deploy docker containers.

Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.

REQUIREMENTS:

Master's degree or equivalent in Engineering (any), Applied Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems or related; and

3 years of experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.

Must include 3 years of experience in each of the following:

Designing and developing solution architectures to scale backend systems using Python, MuleSoft, Java, Spring Boot and rest specifications;
