Aspirus in Wausau, WI is seeking a VP- SYSTEM HEART CARE SERVICE LINE to join our SERVICE LINE MANAGEMENT OFFICE team!The Vice President – Heart Care Service Line reports to the SVP – Service Line & Patient Experience. The VP – Heart Care Service Line is accountable for providing strategic leadership and direction for the system. The scope of accountability includes overseeing and understanding all relevant dimensions of the services that are included within the defined service line. This includes a comprehensive understanding of market conditions, as well as the operational, financial, and quality components of the service line. Emanating from the development of a quantifiable methodology for defining and monitoring the key indicators of successful service delivery, the VP will work to define, develop, and implement all the necessary structures, relationships, and resources needed to achieve the strategic goals of Aspirus, Inc. through the attainment of immediate, near-term and long-term service line goals. Has direct reports as appropriate but must be comfortable and proficient working in a matrix management structure. Leads and coordinates a wide variety of administrative, fiscal, clinical, and technical activities to ensure attainment of goals and objectives.
Experience/Qualifications
Knowledge of program development and operations normally acquired through completion of a Master’s Degree or equivalent in Business, Finance or related field.Bachelor’s degree and 14 years of progressive responsibility and related work experience or Master’s degree and 10 years of progressive responsibility and related work experience.Success in building/operating Service Line initiatives is required.Human Relations/Interpersonal Communications – Possesses diplomacy, problem solving, conflict management and resolution, team building, collaboration with disparate parties, and effective oral and written communication skills.Analytical - Has sufficient analytical acumen to apply to the completion of complex assignments.Financial Management – Has working knowledge of reimbursement principles and regulations, ability to read and comprehend financial reports, and understand and apply financial management principles in the application of cost and profitability management.Planning – Possesses organizational and time management skills, self-motivating, anticipatory, understands and can apply fundamental planning principles and concepts.Quality/Process Improvement – Possesses quality management and process improvement knowledge.Marketing and Public Relations - Promotes awareness of services promoting a positive image of the service line, participation in volunteer activities in local, state, and national civic and professional organizations.Ability to develop and execute on a strategic plan, and partner in the development and sustainment of goals, vision, and overall direction of the service linesAbility to provide clear and concise information/presentations to Senior Executive TeamAbility to develop directors and managers.
